We utilize sustainable audiovisual equipment and event technology as they can be very energy intensive.
We cooperate with our Yokohama partner corporations to implement a number of practices to realize a sustainable MICE by reducing energy consumption and improve overall sustainability of the event:
Use of energy-saving equipment and ensure such features are enabled.
Turn off unnecessary equipment.
Make floor plans and event diagrams available electronically.
Ship only what is needed and procure equipment and engineers locally.
Use local labor for setup and removal.
Recycle batteries and other resources. Donate surplus equipment which cannot be re-used to the local community.
Select lighting with reduced energy requirements.
Enable virtual participation in the event through hybrid meeting technology.
