[1] Food Tour at drinking quarter of Yokohama "NOGE"

Overview:

Noge is Yokohama's largest drinking district.
Within just a few hundred meters square, there are izakaya, local cuisine (sushi, eel, blowfish, Japanese skewers, teppanyaki), dining bars, cafes, snack bars, pubs, and more.
Local "Noge guide" will take you to 2 izakaya-style bar/restaurant. Enjoy 1 food and 2 drink at each bar/restaurant, and experience the Showa retro townscape and unique food culture.

Notes:

  3. Please take care of yourself if you have religious dietary restrictions or allergies, as the menu is fixed for this tour.
  4. English speaking guide will attend the tour.
  5. Please wear comfortable shoes as the tour will take you on a walking tour.
  6. If you order extra drink or food, there is an additional cost and you need to pay by yourself.
  7. Please note that this tour may visit places where smoking is not prohibited.
  8. Eligibility：Participants of The 36th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery only.
    Please be noticed the application may be cancelled in case the registration of the congress is not confirmed.

[2] BAYWALK YOKOHAMA walking and running event

*In the event of light rain this event will NOT be cancelled.

Time:

Start at anytime between 7:00 am to 8:30 am and enjoy walking/jogging at your own pace until 10:30 am
*If participants return to the meeting point by 10:30am and finish quick survey, a participation prize will be presented.

Overview:

Along the waterfront path overlooking the Port of Yokohama is a scenic walking & jogging course with one way distance of around 5km without traffic light.
This unique route takes you through Yokohama’s popular sightseeing spots in the inner harbor with splendid views while enjoying the fresh sea breeze.
Walk/Jog and enjoy Yokohama’s scenic view!
There are 2 aid stations along the course to welcome you with the local popular snacks.

[3] City tour and visiting Sankeien-garden with open-top bus

Overview:

We charter open-top bus specially for the Participants of JSES 2023!
You will enjoy the view of major sightseeing spots in central city of Yokohama from the open-top bus and it take you to Japanese garden “Sankeien-garden” where you will enjoy strolling and lunch.

  • 9:00 Leave PACIFICO Yokohama
  • 9:00~10:00 Look at major tourist attraction from the open-top bus and heading to Sankeien-garden
  • 10:00~11:45 Stroll in the garden and lunch at Taishunken（Tea house）
  • 12:00 Leave Sankeien-garden for PACIFICO Yokohama
  • 12:30 End at PACIFICO Yokohama
