With the growth of cruise industry over the years, Yokohama ports sees increase in cruise ship arrivals. Yokohama Port welcomed 168 cruise ship calls in 2018, and this year, is going to be the record 190 calls. Yokohama DMC was appointed to develop strategic contents for welcoming  cruise passengers and crews. 

This “Cruise Friendly” scheme, partnered with Yokohama businesses, offers visitors discounts and free gifts at over 30 participating stores to the passengers of the cruises who disembark at the Port of Yokohama.
