Japanese government has announced that visa-free entry of independent tourists for ordinary passport holders of 68 countries/regions will be allowed and removes daily arrival capacity.

All entrants will be required to provide either a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate (3 doses)  or a certificate of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of depurture.

Submission of the Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS) is no longer required.
