BankPark YOKOHAMAは、元銀行建築である歴史的建物を舞台とした、文化とサスティナブルの発信・共創拠点です。

ここは、世界と日本の工藝が集い、市民・企業・クリエイターが共に学び、創り、交流する場。衣・食・住を彩る工藝や芸術を日常に取り込み、子どもから大人まで、心と社会に豊かさを育むパークです。

１階の発信拠点 「CRAFT.」では、
横浜から世界へと開かれた文化の玄関口として、日本各地の工藝と世界のクラフトをつなぎ、食やアート、デザインを通して新しいライフスタイルを提案します。ここから発信される出会いや体験は、地域を越え、国境を越え、世界中へと広がっていきます。

B１階・２階・３階の共創拠点「goodroom lounge 横浜馬車道」には、シェアオフィス・アトリエ機能を導入し、多様な企業や市民が集い、資源循環やSDGsを軸に多様な価値観を共有し、持続可能な社会を共創します。シェアオフィス・アトリエには、コミュニティマネージャーが常駐し、市民・企業・クリエイターをつなぎ、新たなコミュニティを育みます。

文化と歴史に溢れたパークは日常と非日常を往き来する舞台として、横浜から世界へ ― 伝統と革新が響き合う新しい時代の物語を発信していきます。

本施設は1929年に建てられた銀行建築を2003年にその先端（バルコニー部分）を曳家し形態復元した横浜市認定歴史的建造物です。建物としての歴史的価値を生かしながら、市民から世界の観光客にまで愛される新たな拠点としての役割を与えたいという想いから、「BankPark YOKOHAMA」という名称が生まれました。

「Bank」は銀行建築である建物の歴史的ルーツを表し、「Park」は歴史的建物をパーク化し、みんなの公園をつくるという想いを表現しています。歴史溢れるまちのシンボルに、日々の暮らしを彩る文化芸術の拠点や分野の垣根を超えた共創の場をつくることで、明るい公園のような「出会い、学び、育つ」場所になることを目指します。

B1F, 2F and 3F: Co-Creation Space City Premier "goodroom lounge Yokohama Bashamichi"
Featuring integrated shared offices and creative ateliers, this floor serves as a collaborative dynamic ecosystem. Here, diverse businesses, citizens, and creators come together to share values centered around corporate sustainability, resource circulation, and the SDGs to co-create a sustainable society. Dedicated community managers are always on-site to facilitate networking, bridge connections, and nurture new creative communities.

This venue, rich in culture and history, serves as an extraordinary stage that seamlessly blends the everyday with the exceptional broadcasting a new narrative from Yokohama to the world where tradition and innovation resonate in perfect harmony.

The Heritage and The Concept
Originally constructed in 1929, this architectural gem is a Yokohama Certified Historic Building, whose iconic balcony structure was meticulously preserved and restored through a sophisticated structural moving (Hikiya) process in 2003. The name "BankPark YOKOHAMA" reflects a profound vision: to honor its architectural legacy while transforming it into a beloved landmark for both local citizens and international visitors.

"Bank" pays homage to the building’s historical roots as a banking institution, while "Park" embodies the desire to open this historic monument to the public, envisioning it as a lively park for everyone. By transforming this historic city icon into a centerpiece for arts, culture, and cross-industry collaboration, we aim to cultivate a welcoming, sunlit park-like environment where people meet, learn, and grow.
